                    Central Heating Power Flushing                   

What is Power Flushing?                                       

A power flush is a method of clearing all rust and sludge deposits from the central heating system using a powerful flushing machine this will clear all blockages and sludge that has built up in the central heating system over the years, using very effective chemicals. 

Benefits 

By having a complete power flush to the boiler and radiators it will improve the water flow around the heating system therefore will heat your home up faster and will save you money on your heating bills as your boiler is not working so hard to heat the system, 70% of boiler breakdowns we cover are due to dirty water in the heating system. 

Chemicals 

We use a chemical called FX2 it is the best power flushing chemical liquid to use for decaling and de-sluging for rapid and effective results. 

Once the power flush has been completed we put Neutralising Crystals in the heating system to clean out the chemicals to leave the water clean and clear, once this process has been completed we add a inhibitor to the system to stop sludge and rust deposits building up again. 

How long should a power flush last for 

If a power flush is done properly then it should last until you have the boiler replaced as most plumbing companies power flush when installing new boilers and central heating systems, if the heating system has to be drained for any reason then you have to make sure an inhibitor is put back in.
